A YouTube star and competitive eater was in Saltney this week to take on his next huge food challenge.

BeardMeatsFood – real name is Adam Moran – has a massive following on the video-sharing platform accumulating over 2.4m subscribers.

Adam posts videos of competitive food challenges where he eats a huge amount of food within a certain time frame.

He visited The Fresh Kitchen Co on River Lane in Saltney earlier this week to take on their mammoth breakfast challenge.

It’s a challenge that can land you a £50 prize and one that Tyson Fury’s dad tried and failed at.

The former banker and qualified personal trainer from Leeds was presented with a huge plate of 50+ items including sausage, bacon, mushrooms, poached eggs, black pudding bowls of baked beans and loads toast.

Shouting his customary “let’s get it!” Beard Meats Food cracked on with his latest challenge.

The challenge costs £25 and if you are able to leave nothing behind within 45 minutes, the breakfast is free and you get £50 prize money, something that no one had achieved, until now.

In the video, Adam says “on the agenda today we’re are at the Fresh Kitchen Co in Saltney.”

“I’m going take it on the Breakfast Challenge, which apparently is not been beaten since January of this year.”

“It was attempted by the father of famous boxer serial retiree Tyson fury,  John Fury who apparently gave it a good stab but we didn’t do it inside the time limit.”

Tucking in, Adam started the challenge with six sausages first before moving on to eating six poached eggs, and the rest of the plateful with his hands.

BeardMeatsFood finished the challenge after 14 minutes and 58 seconds, not a crumb was left behind.

The video uploaded on Thursday has so far been viewed over 815,000 times, 100,000 of those withing the first hour.

Posting on their Facebook page The Fresh Kitchen Co laid down a challenge saying “if anyone could beat this please feel free to let us know”
