One person was taken to hospital following Hawarden motorcycle crash on Friday evening

One person was taken to hospital on Friday evening following a motorcycle crash on Cross Tree Lane in Hawarden.

Police closed the road just after 8.00pm on Friday evening as emergency services dealt with the collision, police say no other vehicle was involved.

The crash happened close to the entrance of Hawarden Village School, police road markings appears to show an initial impact on opposite side of the road from the school, tyre marks also show the motorbike veered across the road towards the cemetery railings.

A Wales Ambulance Spokesman said;

“We were called at about 8pm on Friday to reports of a road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist on Cross Tree Lane, Hawarden.

Two crews in emergency ambulances attended and one man was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital with injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.”
