The Sunday Gathering artisan market returns to Mold town centre on Sunday 26 April, with more than 30 stalls confirmed for the first date of the 2026 season.

The market runs from 10am to 2pm on Daniel Owen Square and at the Daniel Owen Centre.

Traders confirmed for the opening date include Hafod Brewery, which is based in Mold, and K&G Chocolates.

Stalls will offer food and drink alongside craft, gift and jewellery traders, with beers, gins and liqueurs also on sale.

The Tegeingl Tanglers, a Border Morris dance group, will perform on stage between 11am and 1pm.

Organisers say they hope to host a classic car display at Meadow Place Car Park during market hours, though this has not been confirmed.

Meadow Place Car Park will be closed to public parking while the market is running.

Other car parks in Mold remain open and are free to use on Sundays.

Mold Historic Guided Walking Tours run alongside each market date, with eight walks available to book through Mold Town Council.

The 2026 Sunday Gathering season will run on the last Sunday of each month through to October.

The remaining dates are 31 May, 28 June, 26 July, 30 August, 27 September and 25 October.

An Emergency and Uniformed Services Day is planned to coincide with the June market on Sunday 28 June.

The Sunday Gathering is run by Sunday Gathering CIC, a non-profit Community Interest Company that reinvests any surplus from the markets into local projects in partnership with Mold Town Council.

Traders, performers, community groups and classic vehicle owners interested in taking part at future dates can contact the organisers by emailing [email protected].
