Shotton: Burst water main causing problems with supply

A burst water main is affecting drinking water supplies today (Wednesday) in parts of Shotton.

The burst main is on North Street and engineers are currently working on the damaged main, some residents are experiencing intermittent issues with supply.

Welsh water say:

“We anticipate that water supplies should begin returning to normal by early this afternoon.”

“When the water supply is restored some customers may notice some discolouration of tap water, this is normal in this situation and the water should clear when run from a cold tap.”
