Rural crime team warns after Holywell farm theft

North Wales Police are investigating the theft of a GPS dome and other electrical equipment from a farm on the outskirts of Holywell.
The Rural Crime Team said the theft took place between 6pm on Friday 7 November and 10am on Saturday 8 November.
In a statement, the team said: “Between 6pm on Friday the 7th of November and 10am on Saturday the 8th of November a GPS dome and other electrical items were stolen from a farm on the outskirts of Holywell. We would like to make farmers aware and urge them to take proper precautions in respect of GPS domes.”
Officers said they had also received information about a possible second theft of a GPS dome within the force area, which had not yet been reported.
“We would encourage anybody that has been the subject of such a theft to make contact with us via 101 or via the online reporting facility on our Force website,” the statement added.
The incident reference is C173369.
Police are advising farmers and agricultural businesses to take extra care in securing GPS domes and other farm technology, which can be a target for organised theft.
