RSPCA charity shop voted as Asda Queensferry’s Community Life Charity

RSPCA charity shop staff were delighted to receive a cheque for £200 from the Asda store in Queensferry. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The RSPCA charity shop in Shotton was nominated and selected for Asda Queensferry’s Community Life Charity. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

As one of three local charities chosen for the January and February round, customers voted using Asda’s green token system. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

RSPCA Shotton shop was then chosen as the winner and received a cheque for £200. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Shop manager of the Chester Road West store, Cath Wilcock, said: “We are delighted to have been chosen as the winner and would like to thank Asda, and of course all of the customers who voted for us. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“This donation is very gratefully received.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The shop has been in Shotton for seven years and donations of saleable clothes, bric-a-brac or cash can be made at the shop. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
