Flint Road in Saltney reopened followed earlier closure due to a serious collision

Update: The road has since reopened.  ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Previous report: The B5129 Flint Road in Saltney is closed following a collision between a vehicle and pedestrian. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Emergency services were called to the incident close to Saltney Ferry railway bridge.  ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

A man is understood to have been taken to the Countess of Chester hospital, his condition is unknown.  ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“Road blocked and very slow traffic due to serious accident on B5129 both ways at Ewart Street. Near Saltney Ferry Primary School.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
