Police search for driver after pedestrian seriously hurt in Queensferry hit and run

North Wales Police have called for witnesses to come forward following a hit and run in Queensferry on Saturday night which left a pedestrian seriously injured. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The incident happened near the Spar on Station Road just before 9pm when the driver of a ‘medium sized silver vehicle’ collided with a male pedestrian. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The driver failed to stop and fled the scene. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The road was closed for several hours while police investigated the incident.  ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

A spokesperson for the forces roads policing unit said: ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“We are appealing for witnesses following a serious Road Traffic Collision on Station Road, Queensferry last night, Saturday 8th February 2020. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

At approximately 2055hrs, emergency services responded to the scene involving a medium sized silver vehicle and a male pedestrian. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and fled the scene leaving the pedestrian with serious injuries. Several enquiries are being conducted to trace the driver. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
