Police renew appeal to trace a man wanted in connection with a serious assault in Mold

Police have renewed an appeal for help in trace a man the want to speak to in connection with a serious attack in Mold that has left the victim in a critical condition.

North Wales Police have made a further three arrests in connection with the investigation into a serious assault in Nant Garmon, Mold on January 5th.

Three men, not from the local area, have been interviewed and released on police bail pending enquires.

Meanwhile the victim remains in a critical condition in hospital and DCI Simon Williams has renewed his appeal to the public for support in locating Michael Cullen, 31, from Leeswood, Mold who is wanted for questioning and who remains outstanding.

DCI Williams said; “ We urgently need to trace Michael Cullen. He maybe in the Liverpool area, possibly in and around the Huyton or Norris Green areas.

“We would remind the public not to challenge or approach Cullen, but to report any sightings of him to North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference V002209.”

Cullen is thought to be in the Liverpool area, possibly in and around the Huyton or Norris Green areas.

DCI Simon Williams said;

This was a serious incident in which the victim sustained life threatening injuries.

We would remind the public not to challenge or approach Cullen, but to report any sightings of him to North Wales Police on 101 quoting reference V002209.
