There’s been quite a bit of ‘noise’ today (25th November) on social media, mainly Facebook, about the Police helicopter hovering over Connah’s Quay in the early hours of this morning.

One concerned resident told us:

“Between 1.30 am & 2.30 am a police helicopter was hovering over Wepre park & the bottom of Wepre Lane & police cars were called many residence were awoken with the noise seemed like they were following a suspect or searching for someone anyone know any more ?”

The Hawarden based Police helicopter crew later tweeted:

We dropped a note to the Police to find out if there was anymore information, they are yet to respond, the tweet probably sums up all we need to know.
