Police ask drivers to avoid Station Road in Queensferry following a collision

Update: Police have said Station Road in Queensferry remains closed in both directions between KFC and The Queens Ferry Hotel, following an earlier road traffic collision. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

A cordon is still in place and drivers have been asked use alternative routes. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Police have asked if “anybody witnessed the incident or has any information regarding it call on 101.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“Big thanks to Lukas takeaway and KFC for providing officers who are preserving the scene with some warm refreshments in the stormy weather!” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The road is currently closed in both directions from The Queensferry Hotel to the Traffic lights near Kentucky Fried Chicken. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

North Wales Police tweeted: ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

“Road closure currently in place on Station Road, Queensferry, in both directions between KFC and The Queens Ferry Hotel, following a road traffic collision. Please use alternative routes.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Commenting on the Deeside.com Facebook page, Morgan said: “i can see the incident from here, one person injured and 6 cars and one ambulance, just outside the spar. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
