ORIGINAL STORY:
North Wales Police are appealing for information after a 26 year old man was shot at with air weapon.
Ian Stevenson a care worker from Flint, was standing outside Flint Leisure Centre with his girlfriend and son when he was hit in the neck by a pellet fired from an air weapon
Mr Stevenson told the Flintshire Leader:
“I was shot with an air rifle and it hit me in the neck, any lower and it could have been a lot worse.
Somebody could have been killed. I was with my little lad in the pram, they could have hit him.
He added:
I was shocked, I just thought ‘what the hell was that?’,
If they’d hit me any higher they could have hit the soft tissue or blinded me.”
North Wales Police say they received a call from a member of the public stating that he had been shot with an air weapon.
Police officers, including some with firearms according to reports on social media, attended the scene and an area search was carried out, police are now following a number of lines of enquiries.

“ This was a nasty and potentially very dangerous incident . We won’t tolerate this kind behaviour and a full investigation is underway.”
