Police appeal for info after attempted raid on cash machine in Denbigh

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after an attempt was made to access an ATM at a garage in Denbigh.

Police were alerted to the attempt at 2.46am at the Shell garage, Rhyl Road Denbigh. Nothing is believed to have been stolen.

Officers attended, a search of the area was undertaken however proved negative.

“Inquiries are continuing and anyone with information is urged to contact local officers,” said local District Inspector Glen Brumby. “We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen any activity including any suspicious vehicles around the time of the incident to please contact us on 101 quoting U051605. Alternatively, people can contact the Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

House to house inquiries are continuing in the area and Crime Scene Investigators are also at the scene.
