Police appeal after suspected hit and run in Queensferry

Police are appealing for information after a woman was hit by a Transit van on Station Road in Queensferry.

The Collision is believed to have happened near to the KFC on Station Road at around 12.15pm.

The female has been taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

North Wales police tweeted:

‘RTC Station Rd Queensferry last 30 mins involving pedestrian and white transit van that drove off. If you witnessed phone 101 quote U055382’

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said;

“We were called at just after 12.15pm today to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Queensferry, Deeside.

We attend with an Emergency Ambulance and a female adult was conveyed to the Countess of Chester Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.”

Station Road was partially blocked between the B5129 Chester Road junction and the Sealand Avenue junction, because of the incident.
