Truck driver charged after colliding with a stationary car on A55

At Czech truck driver has been handed a £430 fine and five penalty points after the lorry he was driving hit a car on the eastbound carriageway of the A55 on Thursday.
The incident happened between Junction 31 at Caerwys and Junction 31A at Holywell, the raod was closed while recovery took place, causing major disruption for hours.
Pavel Zvedelik, 45, a Czech national of Teplice, admitted careless driving at Prestatyn magistrates court and was ordered to pay £430 in a fine and costs, with five penalty points.
Nobody was seriously injured in the collision which happened when the articulated lorry smashed into a broken-down car.
