Police appeal after reports of vehicle interference in Hawarden

North Wales Police are appealing for information following reports of vehicle interference in Hawarden during the early hours of Wednesday, 27 November 2024.

According to police, CCTV and Ring doorbell footage captured an unidentified individual attempting to open car doors in the area, with some vehicles reportedly accessed.

In a statement, officers urged residents in Wood Lane, Hollins Lane, Level Road, and surrounding areas to review any CCTV footage recorded between 1.00 am and 4.00 am on the day in question.

Police have conducted house-to-house enquiries and night-time patrols to deter further incidents. They are now seeking additional assistance from the public.

PC Emyr Owen, who is leading the investigation, asked for anyone with relevant footage or information to come forward:

“We are now appealing for anyone in the Wood Lane, Hollins Lane, Level Road and surrounding areas of Hawarden, who have yet to be contacted by our officers, to review any Ring doorbell or CCTV footage.”
