Person banned from Deeside pubs for 10 years after Pubwatch meeting

A person has been banned from pubs in the Deeside area for 10 years following a meeting of the local Pubwatch scheme.
North Flintshire Police said the ban was agreed at this month’s Deeside Pubwatch meeting, attended by Wetherspoons, the Broad Oak, the Red Hall, The Clwyd, the Castle, Hendy’s in Shotton and the Labour Club.
The individual will be notified of the ban and their details shared among pubs in the area.
No details of the reason for the ban were given.
The force said: “We work closely with the licensed premises to promote safe environments for customers and staff.”
All of the premises have signed up to an online portal called Schemelink, which is used by Pubwatch schemes, councils and police to share alerts, manage incidents and exchange photos and information securely.
North Flintshire Police said the portal “operates with the aim of reducing crime & anti-social behaviour in our area.”
Pubwatch schemes are voluntary groups of licensees who meet to agree joint action on people who cause trouble in their venues, with bans applying across all member premises.
