Penyffordd is one of the cleanest villages in Alyn & Deeside and it’s good to be able to help keep it that way.”
Jack Sargeant, who represents the area in the Senedd also came along to help out paid tribute to the Penyffordd Community Councillors who organised it and everyone who helped out. He said “Thank you to Cllrs Pat Ransome and Richard Bestwick for their efforts, and to Cllr Alasdair Ibbotson who came round with Mark Tami and I. Everyone who came out from Penyffordd can be proud of their efforts”
Cllr Pat Ransome thanked everyone who came along, saying “It was lovely to see so many people get involved in keeping our village tidy, and to Mark Tami and Jack Sargeant who rolled their sleeves up and joined in enthusiastically. Fair play you cannot ask more than that! They were real sports!”
Cllr Alasdair Ibbotson said “This event shows that community spirit is alive and well in Penyffordd. Thank you to everyone who got their picker out!”
