Pensioner dies following a house fire in Mancot

A pensioner has died following a house fire in Mancot. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The 80-year-old woman was rescued by firefighters from her home on Friday evening. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Crews from Deeside and Buckley were called to the property at Prince William Gardens at 8.46pm on Friday the 15th November. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The woman was transferred to hospital by ambulance suffering from burns but sadly died in hospital. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The cause of the fire is under investigation. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
