North Wales Police officers in North Flintshire seized a vehicle in Flint on Monday night during ongoing Operation Restore patrols.

Officers reported that the vehicle was being driven anti-socially.

On stopping the car, police found that it had no insurance, the driver was not wearing a seat belt, and the number plate was illegal.

The car was seized under Section 165 of the Road Traffic Act, and traffic tickets were issued to the driver.

A spokesperson for the North Flintshire policing team said that patrols under Operation Restore will continue, encouraging drivers to “stay safe”.

The operation focuses on tackling anti-social driving, vehicle offences and wider community concerns across the North Flintshire area.

Police also clarified that a second vehicle visible in a shared image (above) was unrelated to the incident and had been pictured separately at another recovery scene.
