Nomads to honour Hillsborough anniversary with late kick-off tribute.

As a mark of respect for the 1989 Hillsborough tragedy, the gap Connah’s Quay home match against Port Talbot Town has been put back to 15:07pm on Saturday.

While the game itself will be a crucial relegation ‘6 pointer’  it will also serve as a poignant memorial to those 96 fans who lost their lives at Hillsborough stadium on April 15th 1989. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

This weekend clubs across the UK will mark the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster by delaying their kick off by 7 minutes as a mark of respect to those who died on that fateful day. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
