New schoolwear shop opens in Mold town centre

A new schoolwear shop has opened on Chester Street in Mold.
WUC Schoolwear Mold is based at 13–15 Tudor House and opened on 22 June.
The shop is owned by husband and wife Damon and Georgia Cook, who also run a schoolwear business on the Wirral.
Mold’s Mayor, Cllr Jo Edwards, visited the store and met the owners.
Georgia Cook said the shop was opened to serve local schools and parents, saying, “We chose to open in Mold because we recognised a need for a dedicated schoolwear specialist that puts parents and schools first.”
Damon Cook said the premises, formerly an estate agents, had taken several months to renovate, saying, “It’s taken us several months to renovate the premises and we’re absolutely delighted with the finished result. We officially opened on 22nd June and have been overwhelmed by the support we’ve received from the local community.”
Cllr Edwards said, “I was delighted to meet Damon and Georgia and officially welcome them to Mold. The shop looks fantastic and provides an excellent addition to our town centre.”
The shop stocks branded and non-branded uniforms for schools across Mold and the surrounding area, along with school shoes, PE kits, bags and other school accessories.
WUC Schoolwear Mold is located at 13–15 Tudor House, Chester Street, Mold, CH7 1EG.
