Deeside Flood Warnings issued For River Dee with High Tide at 12:30pm on Thursday

Natural Resources Wales have issues flood warnings for the areas around River Dee including Queensferry, Sandycroft and Saltney, Deeside Industrial Park, Garden City, Sealand and part of Chester West Employment Park.

Purple Shaded Area Is At Risk Of Flooding

The high tide at Northern and Hawarden Embankment will be at 12:15 pm tomorrow 

The tide level is expected to reach 6.42 metres above Ordnance Datum.

The Flood Warning will remain in force for two hours after the time of high tide.

Flood warnings are also in place from at Talacre from the gas terminal to Tyn y Morfa, Dee Bank, Boot, Whelston, Wal-wen and Greenfield business park

Flintshire County Council and had also issued a flood warnings and the councils streetscene team are working through the night to fill sandbags if needed across the county.

Natural Resources Wales are monitoring rainfall, river levels, groundwater levels and sea conditions, combined with weather data and tidal reports from the Met Office, and are updating the website regularly with any information. http://naturalresourceswales.gov.uk
