Mold man charged with GBH and intentional strangulation following domestic violence incident

A 43-year-old man from Mold has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and intentional strangulation following an alleged domestic violence incident on 3 February.

Richard Davies, of Bank Villas, Mold, appeared before Mold Magistrates Court on Saturday, 18 April.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Mold Crown Court on 22 May.

Davies faces two charges relating to the 3 February incident: causing grievous bodily harm with intent and intentional strangulation.

He is also charged with breaching a restraining order between July 2025 and April 2026.

North Wales Police said Davies was remanded into custody following his appearance at the magistrates court on Saturday.
