The special timetable will feature a seven-and-a-half minute service running between Liverpool city centre and Aintree station to accommodate the high volume of passengers travelling to the event. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

All Northern line services will run to an amended timetable and passengers are advised to check the journey planner for up-to-date departure times before travelling. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

On all three days of the festival, a seven-and-a-half minute service will run between Aintree and Liverpool Central/Moorfields stations from approximately 11:00 to 14:00 before the races and from approximately 17:00 to 20:48 after the races. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Wirral line: All services to run to the normal timetable. Passengers travelling to the festival from any Wirral line stations are advised to change at Moorfields for an Aintree-bound train. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Anyone planning to travel between the 13-15 April is advised to plan their journey in advance using the journey planner on Merseyrail’s website to understand how the changes affect their journey. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Merseyrail is encouraging all passengers travelling to the festival to plan their journey in advance using the journey planner on their website to understand how the changes will affect their journey. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Passengers are also strongly advised to buy tickets in advance to reduce queuing time on the day. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Tickets can be bought in advance from any staffed Merseyrail station or a Day Saver can be purchased online. ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Merseyrail is reminding passengers that they take safety seriously, and Merseyrail’s “most important job is to ensure that customers get to the races safely.” ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
