lolo’s Great Welsh Parks program caused a bit of a stir – we’ve all been saying Wepre wrong for years it seems.
Lolo’s Great Welsh Parks program shown on BBC1 last night, caused a bit of a flurry on the twitters due to his rather odd pronunciation of Wepre Park or as Lolo called it ‘Wepray Park’.
A subtle difference to what we are used to in Deeside but, it does beg the question, have we all been saying it wrong for years?
Good to see Wepre Park on TV, shame about the pronunciation, but so proud to live by such a beautiful litter free park #iologreatwelshparks

Not that it really mattered, the program showcased Wepre Park in all its glory with comments on social media saying the program had made them feel really proud of one of Deeside’s greatest assets.
