Connah’s Quay woman arrested in connection with Matthew Cassidy murder investigation

Police say they have arrested a woman as part of their investigation into the murder of Matthew Cassidy in Connah’s Quay Flintshire.

A 19-year-old woman from Connah’s Quay was arrested this morning on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder.

She is currently in custody in St Asaph.

Meanwhile police officers are continuing to search properties in Connah’s Quay following this latest arrest.

Matthew,19, was murdered on May 29. David John Woods, 19 from Liverpool has been charged with murder and remanded in custody.
