Connah’s Quay: Holly Grange area targeted by thieves

Police are appealing for information after a spate of burglaries in the Holly Grange and surrounding area’s of Connah’s Quay recently.

A property was ransacked and cash, as well as thousands of pounds worth of electronic goods were stolen in a break in on Monday March 16th.

Police say the incident occurred between 9.30am and 4.45pm on the Monday.

Items stolen include:

Cash, a red HP Laptop, an Xbox 1 with 3 controllers, an Armani gents watch with brown silicone strap, two Pandora bracelets, PS 2 and controllers, 10 inch Samsung Galaxy tablet, 8 inch Samsung tablet, Amazon fire stick, a red iphone 4, a grey iphone 6, portable BOSE speakers, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3 DS and games, grey suede  timberland boots (size 12), Champagne and bottles Prosecco.

The burglary on Monday follows another a burglary in the Holly Grange area which happened on Sunday March 13th, the incident occurred between 2pm and 4.20pm – again

A further incident took place close by in the Lon Celyn area of Connah’s Quay.

Sometime between 2pm and 3pm on 10th March it is thought that an attempt was made to take property from an address in the area.

A piece of wood, with a hook on it, was found close by however no entry was gained.

OWL Watch Liaison Officers are reminding residents not to leave keys, or valuables in view of doors with letterboxes.

Just five minutes walk from Holly Grange a house was burgled in Titan Close, again electronic equipment was the target.

The incident occurred between 10.30am and 7pm last Thursday, March 10th.

Thieves took a black Lenovo G505s laptop and two televisions, one television was a black 32 inch Hitachi, the other was a 32 inch black Samsung.

The reference number is RC16034730 for this burglary – if you know or saw anything call 101.
