Connah’s Quay Christmas Fayre and lights switch-on set for 27 November

Connah’s Quay Town Council has announced details of this year’s Christmas Fayre, which will take place on Thursday 27 November from 4pm to 6.30pm at the Civic Hall on Wepre Drive.
The event marks the start of the festive season for the town and promises something for everyone, with Santa’s Grotto, festive music, craft stalls and seasonal treats including mince pies.
The evening will finish with the Christmas lights switch-on at around 6.30pm, led by the Chair of Connah’s Quay Town Council.
Entry to the fayre is free, and no booking is required. The event is open to all ages and aims to bring the community together to celebrate the festive season.
Organisers have confirmed that access for disabled visitors will be available at the Civic Hall, ensuring everyone can enjoy the celebrations.
Those interested in hosting a craft or gift stall at the fayre are encouraged to contact the Town Council directly.
A spokesperson said: “We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back for this year’s Christmas Fayre. It’s always a wonderful evening filled with community spirit, festive fun and plenty of sparkle.”
