North Wales Police have closed the A55 westbound off-slip at Bretton, leading to Broughton Retail Park, due to a road traffic collision.

The incident, reported just after 12.30pm, has prompted officers to urge drivers to avoid the area.

In a statement on Facebook, North Wales Police said: “The road is currently closed on the off slip for Broughton Retail Park, A55 westbound at Bretton due to a road traffic collision. Please avoid the area, thank you.”

No other details have yet been released.
