Bargain fares on Virgin Trains from North Wales to Chester

The prices for a day return trip are £21.50 from Holyhead, £16.00 from Bangor and £13.50 from Llandudno Junction.

They are available for travel on Virgin Trains’ services only and can also be used to travel to Llandudno Junction, Bangor or Holyhead from Chester.

On Mondays to Fridays the tickets are available for outward travel from 08:45 onwards and the return journey can be made at any time the same day.

Customers can be in Chester for 10:31, leaving Holyhead at 08:55, Bangor at 09:22 or LLandudno Junction at 09:40.

At weekends the tickets are valid for travel at any time. For the full timetable of Virgin Trains’ services visit the company’s website virgintrains.com.

Chris Walton, Virgin Trains’ General Manager for North Wales said:

“We are delighted to offer these special fares, offering a saving of around 25%. We are sure they will appeal particularly to day trippers visiting Chester to soak up the history and the fantastic range of shops. Customers travelling from Chester to the North Wales coast for a summer day out will also get a great deal”
