Bagillt: Suspect sought following reports they have been trying to access properties

North Flintshire Neighbourhood Police Team (NPT) has increased its presence in the Riverbank area of Bagillt after reports of someone trying to access local properties.

In a Facebook post today, the team shared a CCTV photo, showing a suspect in a distinctive coat and balaclava.

The unique look of the suspect’s clothing is key to the investigation.

Officers have urged anyone who might recognise this person to come forward with information.

Police have asked for the community’s help, advising the public not to name possible suspects in social media comments.

They encourage private and direct communication with the police for any important information.

Also, residents with CCTV are asked to check their footage for anything unusual or suspicious.

Officers will will conduct more high-visibility patrols in the area.

A spokesperson said: “NPT have been on patrol in Riverbank, Bagillt today following reports that a person had been trying to access properties.”

“We have received the following photo from footage captured. The coat and balaclava are distinctive, therefore if you know who this person may be please contact us.”

“Do not name them in the comments please.”

“If you have CCTV in the area please review this and get in touch if you notice anything suspicious.”

“We will be conducting further high visibility patrols in the area.”
