Arrest made following Saltney serious collision appeal
A driver has been arrested following a serious collision in Saltney on Friday, 7 November.
North Wales Police confirmed that the driver of a white van involved in the incident has now been arrested and the vehicle seized.
The arrest follows a public appeal issued by officers earlier this week seeking information about the collision.
In a statement, North Wales Police said: “Officers would like to thank members of the public for their assistance following our recent appeal in relation to a serious collision in Saltney on Friday, 7th November.
“As a result of information received, the driver of the white van involved has now been arrested, and the van seized. No other persons are outstanding in connection with this incident.
“We are grateful to everyone who contacted us and provided information, CCTV or dashcam footage to assist the investigation.”
Police continue to appeal for anyone with further information to come forward via the North Wales Police website or by calling 101, quoting reference C173199.
