There’s disruption to train services between Wrexham and Bidston this morning following a ‘fault’ on the train.

Arriva Trains Wales website says the 8.31am Bidston to Wrexham Central which was due at 9.32am and had previously been delayed, was ‘further delayed at Upton’ it was around 19 minutes late.

The 9.30am Wrexham Central to Bidston which calls at Shotton was cancelled due to the fault on the train, the return service from Bidston to Wrexham, which again should be calling at Shotton for those wanting to travel towards Wrexham has been cancelled.

Amidst all the their corporate tweets about installing wi-fi on 75% of trains and a bus service between Wrexham and Chester one nugget of information says the service should be back to normal by the afternoon,
