A55 westbound blocked after collision near Ewloe
A collision on the westbound A55 between Ewloe and the junction 33 turn off (Flint) is causing long tail backs.
Traffic Wales reported the incident shortly before 1.45pm on Friday.
The agency said there is heavy congestion in the area, with queues backing up onto the A494.
INRIX, the traffic data provider, said the carriageway is partially blocked with queueing traffic
Map data shows slow traffic running back from the area towards the Ewloe interchange, with secondary queues forming on the A494 from Queensferry and along Aston Hill.
Drivers heading west on the A55 from Chester and Deeside towards Flint, Holywell and the rest of the north Wales coast are facing delays.
