A55 Flintshire – vehicles recovered, all lanes open

Lane two (of two) reopened around 10:10 after the vehicles involved were recovered. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

Earlier report: A section of the A55 in Flintshire is reported to be partially blocked following a collision. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

The incident has happened on the eastbound side near Halkyn. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

One lane is closed resulting in nearly two miles of stationary traffic back along the A55, delays are quoted at around 17 minutes. ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​

A traffic report for the arear states: “Partially blocked and queueing traffic due to crash on A55 North Wales Expressway Eastbound from J32 A5026 (Holywell) to J33 A5119 Northop Road (Northop). Cameras show that traffic is squeezing past the scene.” ‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌​
