Police appeal for info after thieves make off with mini excavator from Holywell building site

South Flintshire Police are appealing for information after an Hitachi mini excavator was stolen from a building site at Pen-y-Pyllau, Milwr Road, Holywell yesterday.

The thieves were seen on CCTV driving the bright orange digger off site at 5.15pm on Monday, it was followed by a white van towing a trailer.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the excavator on the road or being taken away on a low loader possibly heading onto the A5026 road into Holywell or on the roads leading to Pentre Halkyn village.
