Hundreds of pounds worth of garden tools stolen from van in Saltney overnight

Police in Flintshire are appealing for information after garden power tools worth hundreds of pounds were stolen from a van in Saltney.

A Mercedes Vito was broken into sometime on Monday evening and the early hours of Tuesday morning on Sandy Lane in Saltney.

Tools stolen from the van include:

  • 1 X STIHL HEDGE CUTTER 81R (ORANGE +WHITE)
  • 1X STIHL POWER UNIT (COMBI UNIT) KM130 (ORANGE +WHITE)
  • 1X SHINDAIWA GRASS STRIMMER (RED) MODEL UNIT: 243
  • 1X STIHL GRASS STRIMMER FS50 (ORANGE +WHITE)
  • 1X HUSQVARNA HANDHELD BLOWER (ORANGE)

As part of enquiries, police are appealing to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or has been offered any of the tools for sale to contact them via 101 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 101 Reference is V09226
