Councillor Vacancy Shotton Town Council Higher Ward

A vacancy has arisen for a councillor to represent the Shotton Higher Ward, the vacancy is due to the resignation of Councillor Keith Minshull.

A sign posted on the communities first notice board in Higher Shotton said;

A by-election to fill the vacancy will be held within 14 days (not counting Saturdays and Sundays) from the date shown below ( 12th November ) ten electors for the ward give notice in writing claiming such an election to the returning officer.

If no such notice is given the Town Council will fill the vacancy by co-option.
