Former Performing Arts student Kane Oliver Parry has landed himself a lead role in Beautiful – The Carole King Musical, which will be touring the UK starting in September.

Kane, from Mold, studied Level 2 Performing Arts and then progressed onto Level 3 Performing Arts at Coleg Cambria Yale before heading off to Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London.

Since leaving Mountview, Kane has starred in many West End musicals such as Wicked and We Will Rock You, but has most recently been seen in Oklahoma, BBC Proms 2017 live at the Royal Albert Hall London, which was aired on BBC Four a couple of weeks ago.

Of his time at Cambria, Kane said, “Coleg Cambria gave me all the tools I needed to help further my training and career in the West End. The teaching and facilities at the College are second to none.”

Coleg Cambria Dance Lecturer, Jamie Jenkins said, “We are extremely proud of Kane’s achievements. He is a great example of what can be achieved with hard work, determination and of course talent.

“We wish Kane the very best in his upcoming tour and are very much looking forward to taking our students to see him.”
