Mark Tami MP and his Welsh Assembly Colleague, Carl Sargeant AM unveiled the winner of their annual Christmas card competition.

This year’s winning design was by Anita Phillips, aged 10, from Ysgol Cae’r Nant and was revealed at a ceremony at Toyota’s Manufacturing Plant in Deeside.

Mark Tami MP said:

‘The standard of design was as high as ever and it was very difficult to judge. The winning design was a colourful holly leaf with a number of festive images on it including a reindeer and a snowman’

‘I would like to thank all the schools that took part and the companies that generously donated to the competition to make sure that it could happen.’

Anita’s picture has been used as the design for the Christmas card that the Alyn & Deeside politicians will send this year and will be received by a number of politicians including Opposition Leader, Ed Miliband and First Minister, Carwyn Jones AM.
