Water restored to Flintshire after supply disruption

Water supplies have been fully restored to customers across Flintshire following recent disruptions.

Some households may continue to experience intermittent supply, low pressure or discoloured water while systems return to normal.

Bottled water stations remain open this morning at:

Jade Jones Pavilion, Flint CH6 5ER

Park & Ride Car Park, Deeside Industrial Park, CH5 2NY

County Hall Car Park, Mold CH7 6NF

Affected customers will receive compensation for the disruption.

Households are set to receive £30 for each 12 hours without supply.

Business customers will receive £75 for each 12 hours without supply and will also be able to claim for any loss of income.

The application process for business claims opens at 12pm on Tuesday 19 August.

Welsh Water said: “We’d like to apologise for the inconvenience this has caused customers.”
