Theatr Clwyd’s Mother Goose nominated for six pantomime awards

Theatr Clwyd’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Panto, Mother Goose, has received six nominations at the 2025 Pantomime Awards, recognising the production’s outstanding creativity, performances, and design.

The nominations include:

  • Best Pantomime
  • Christopher Biggins Award for Best Dame – Phylip Harries
  • Best Comic – Celia Cruwys-Finnigan
  • Best Contribution to Music – Tayo Akinbode
  • Best Set Design – Adrian Gee
  • Best Newcomer to Industry – Imad Eldeen

Speaking about the nominations, Daniel Lloyd, Theatr Clwyd’s Associate Director and Director of Mother Goose, said:

“We’re egg-static that Mother Goose has been nominated for the Panto awards!

“Our honkingly talented team put their feathered hearts into this show, and it’s truly panto-mime-blowing to see Mother Goose flying high.”

Exciting Year Ahead for Theatr Clwyd

The winners of the 2025 Pantomime Awards will be announced later this year. Meanwhile, Theatr Clwyd is gearing up for its next festive production – Cinderella, directed by Daniel Lloyd and written by Christian Patterson.
