Mancot singing group marks 10 years with weekend performance

News and Info from Deeside, Flintshire, North Wales

A singing group performed to a singalong audience at Mancot Village Hall over the weekend.

The Singing for Pleasure group led the room through songs including Sweet Caroline and Amarillo.

The Trustees of Mancot Village Hall said: “we have had very positive feedback and great reviews from those who attended the performance”.

The group was formed 10 years ago.

It meets each Monday from 2 to 3pm at the village hall in Mancot.

Members come from Mancot, Hawarden and further afield.

The singers are led by Lucy White, with a repertoire that ranges from The Beatles to Bach.

Lucy White and members of the group said: “singing helps to boost your mental health and overall wellbeing, so come along and join us. We are a friendly group. You do not need to have experience of singing, and you don’t need to audition. Everyone is very welcome”.

People wanting more information can contact Lucy White on 07711034533 or go along to a Monday session at Mancot Village Hall.
