Theatr Clwyd is launching a recruitment drive for both paid and volunteer positions as it prepares to reopen in June following an extensive redevelopment.

A recruitment and volunteering event will take place in Mold’s Daniel Owen Square on Wednesday 12 March from 10am to 2pm, offering attendees the chance to learn about job opportunities and speak with representatives from the theatre.

Theatr Clwyd is seeking to fill a variety of roles, including housekeepers, lighting technicians, IT specialists, and volunteer ushers.

The event is being held in partnership with Communities for Work Plus, a Welsh Government programme that supports people into employment.

Laura Temple, Theatr Clwyd’s Head of People, said: “We have got some exciting jobs and volunteer roles coming up as we get ready to open the theatre. If you’re looking for a new challenge, or want to give back to your community, this event is for you.”

All available roles will be advertised on the Theatr Clwyd website at theatrclwyd.com/jobs. Those interested in attending or seeking further information can contact [email protected] or [email protected].

Theatr Clwyd is one of Wales’ leading producing theatres and has undergone significant redevelopment to enhance its facilities and visitor experience.

The June reopening will mark a new chapter for the venue, with expanded programming and community engagement opportunities.
