Driver flees scene of crash after car over turns in Connah’s Quay

A car driver fled the scene of a collision earlier today after his Renault crashed into two cars and over turned in Connah’s Quay.

Church Street was closed for several hours following the collision which saw two parked cars hit, smashing one into the wall of a house.

Police say they were called to Church Street at 1.40pm today after reports a car had collided with a Vauxhall Corsa and a Peugeot near to St Marks Church, police said the driver of the vehicle which over turned fled the scene.

The Welsh Ambulance service say they were called at to reports of a road traffic collision on Church Street, Connah’s Quay.

A crew in an emergency ambulance attended the scene, however they were not required to provide treatment.

One witness told us:

“The driver overtook someone doing about 30 then hit a parked silver Peugeot pushing it into a wall, he flipped his own into the other side of the road, how he got out of the car I do not know”.
