Police recover stolen item after Holywell break-ins

North Wales Police have arrested three people following two alleged burglaries in Holywell on Monday.

One suspect has been arrested on suspicion of burglary, while two others have been detained on suspicion of handling stolen goods.

A high-value item has since been recovered and returned to its owner following forensic examination.

Police credited vigilant homeowners and location tags for aiding in the recovery.

In recent weeks, officers have noted an increase in shed break-ins and thefts in the Holywell and Greenfield areas.

Residents are urged to remain alert and ensure that any outbuildings are securely locked.

A police spokesperson said: “We have seen a large number of shed breaks and thefts in the Holywell & Greenfield areas. We ask that you remain vigilant and ensure any outbuildings are secure.”
