Update: The road is back open

Earlier report: North Wales Police have closed the B5129 Saltney Ferry following a road traffic collision.

The closure is in place from the roundabout at Manor Lane to just past Hawarden airport, causing disruption for motorists in the area.

Emergency services including an air ambulance are at the scene.

In a statement on social media, North Wales Police said: “

Road closure on the B5129 from the roundabout that meets Manor Lane to just passed the airport due to a road traffic collision.
We thank you for your patience.”
