Police appeal for witnesses after serious collision in Flintshire on Thursday

North Wales Police are appealing for witnesses and footage following a serious road traffic collision near Hendre on Thursday night (6 February).

Emergency services were called at 10.14 pm to the A541 between Star Crossing and Nannerch after a silver Vauxhall Corsa left the road.

The male driver was taken to Stoke University Hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone with dashcam, mobile phone, or CCTV footage from the area before the crash.

PC Gareth Rogers of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “The investigation is underway, and we’re working to piece together what happened. We urge anyone who saw or heard anything around the time of the collision, or who was travelling on the A541 with footage, to come forward.”
