North Wales Crusaders have launched an investment campaign on Seedrs, a crowdfunding investment platform, giving fans and investors the opportunity to buy into the club as it looks to progress towards the Super League.

The Colwyn Bay-based side, established in 2011, is the only professional rugby league club in Wales. The team currently sits top of RFL League 1 and reports an average monthly social media reach of 1.26 million.

The club play their home matches at Stadiwm CSM in Colwyn Bay.

Alongside the professional men’s squad, the club runs a women’s side, reserves and pathway teams, supported by a rugby management group and commercial team.

The club says it has seen a 16 per cent increase in revenue between 2022 and 2024, with income generated from gate receipts, sponsorship and league distribution.

A statement on the Seedrs campaign page reads: “Our mission is to provide a pathway to young players that will serve the community of 692,000 people in North Wales. Crusaders will build forward towards a Super League application.”

The fundraising campaign has been approved by Seedrs Limited, trading as Republic Europe, as a financial promotion as of 14 August 2025. Republic Europe is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

Seedrs has reminded potential backers that investing involves risks including loss of capital, illiquidity, lack of dividends and dilution, and should be done only as part of a diversified portfolio.

Priority access to the Crusaders campaign is now open, with supporters able to join a list before wider investment opportunities go public.
